As a Forensic Accountant, you will play a critical role in investigating financial fraud, analyzing complex financial data, and providing expert insights and testimony in legal proceedings. You will work remotely, utilizing your specialized accounting skills to identify discrepancies, trace funds, and uncover financial irregularities. What you'll be doing 

• Conducting thorough financial investigations to identify fraudulent activities and irregularities 
• Analyzing financial records, statements, and transactions to determine their accuracy and consistency 
• Tracing and identifying the flow of funds to uncover fraudulent schemes or hidden assets 
• Collaborating with legal teams, law enforcement agencies, and other professionals to gather evidence and build strong cases 
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation that present findings and support legal proceedings 
• Utilizing advanced data analysis techniques and specialized software to extract and interpret financial data 
• Providing expert testimony in court proceedings, explaining complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner 
• Assisting in the development and implementation of internal controls and fraud prevention measures
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in forensic accounting

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 
• Professional certification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
• Proven experience as a Forensic Accountant or in a similar role 
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices 
• Proficiency in data analysis and using forensic accounting software 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail 
• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple projects simultaneously 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly 
• High ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive financial information 

Preferred candidates for this role will have previous experience working remotely or in a virtual team environment. They will also possess excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient handling of multiple investigations simultaneously. Additionally, candidates with a background in criminal justice or law enforcement will be preferred, as they can bring valuable insights and collaboration to the forensic accounting process. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Forensic Accountant. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
