Job Description
We seek a detail-oriented and efficient Staff Accountant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various accounting duties, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and working independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and record invoice payments with accuracy and adherence to coding standards.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain financial records and cash equivalents in compliance with company policies.
  • Manage and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
  • Classify, code, and summarize financial data for record-keeping using various accounting tools.
  • Prepare and distribute various financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.
  • Execute period-end closing procedures and generate reports as specified.
  • Review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements following company procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.

  • Computer/Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and general office equipment. Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
Experience/Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HIA (Acumatica) and Factura preferred.
  • Knowledge of hospitality terminology is advantageous.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Remote work experience handling US clients.
  • Excellent communication and English, written and spoken.
