As an AWS Systems Administrator, you are responsible in implementing, maintaining, integrating and software applications within the company, and coordinate software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Oversee and maintain live systems applications and integrations using tools in Amazon Web Services 
  • Oversee updating and reviewing current solutions to make sure compliance from both a solution and security perspective to ensure solutions remain intact, accurate and fit for use 
  • Participate in the development, testing, and testing of new Enterprise Systems solutions 
  • Collaborate with other teams Technical, Functional, Engineering, Scientific SME's 
  • Make analyses to authenticate established security requirements 
  • Accountable for creating user manuals and testing beta versions of systems 
  • Identifies system requirements and technical standards by evaluating client objectives, end-user needs, budgets, and current applications 
  • Continually seek to standardize and improve processes into a centralized system architecture 

Requirements 

  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
  • 3 years with Amazon Web Services, Linux (Amazon Linux, RedHat, CentOS) and Windows Server 
  • Experience in operation and administration of Agile software 
  • Deep knowledge of AWS Shared Responsibility Model 
  • Expert with shell scripting language 
  • GitHub Enterprise Server and git experience is required 
  • Knowledgeable with containers and container orchestration environments like Docker-Compose, Docker, Helm and Kubernetes  
  • Deep understanding with modern Configuration Management tools like AWS CloudFormation, Puppet, Terraform and Ansible 
  • Test case management experience like Testrail is required 
  • Technical Peer Review experience like Collaborator is required 
  • Static code analysis experience like SonarQube is required 
  • API development management experience like SwaggerHub is required 

Preferred candidates that have a working knowledge of process orchestration approaches and products as well rounded and responsible. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.   

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced AWS Systems Administrator. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
