As a Credit Officer, you will play a crucial role in our financial institution's operations by assessing and analyzing credit applications and determining the creditworthiness of clients. You will be responsible for managing credit risk and ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations. What you'll be doing 

  • Evaluating creditworthiness by analyzing financial data, credit reports, and client information 
  • Assessing loan applications, reviewing credit limits, and recommending appropriate credit terms 
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and identifying potential credit issues
  • Collaborating with the underwriting team to process loan applications efficiently 
  • Monitoring and managing existing credit accounts to ensure compliance and minimize risk 
  • Preparing credit reports and presenting them to management for review 
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries related to credit decisions 
  • Collaborating with sales and collections teams to optimize credit processes
  • Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in credit assessment 
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field 
  • Proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Credit Analyst, or similar role
  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
  • Solid understanding of financial analysis and risk assessment 
  • Proficiency in using financial analysis software and credit evaluation tools 
  • Strong knowledge of lending regulations and credit policies 
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently 
  • Ability to work independently and make sound credit decisions 

Preferred candidates who have demonstrated expertise in credit analysis, risk management, and financial decision-making. Experience in the banking or financial services industry will be highly valued. Additionally, individuals with professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Credit Professional (CCP) will be given preference.  

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experience Credit Officer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
