As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be responsible for offering diverse services to our enterprise customers and end users such as technical support for personal computers, PDAs, laptops, printers, and peripheral desktop equipment. Analysts carry out installation and troubleshooting activities to facilitate hardware and software requests. 

What you'll be doing 

  • Offers comprehensive Help Desk assistance to end users through various channels such as in-person, phone, remote sessions, and email, addressing requests submitted via the Help Desk ticketing system 
  • Deploys and sets up desktop PCs, hardware, software, and images 
  • Identifies and resolves intricate problems with servers, hardware, software, and networks 
  • Replaces faulty hardware and systems as required, consulting management for major issues 
  • Organizes, catalogs, and manages company-owned hardware, software, and devices 
  • Ensures a secure and responsive internet experience for all users by examining application and website responsiveness and verifying that users have the proper access security level for network resources 
  • Manages and supports campus-wide systems, such as digital signage and audio solutions 
  • Monitors and maintains printer usage and connectivity, as well as print servers 
  • Communicates status updates to manager, teammates, and users through various channels such as phone, email, or in-person 
  • Collaborates in the development, documentation, testing, and deployment of servers, PCs, network equipment, antivirus systems, and security procedures 
  • Installs and maintains network hardware, including cabling, routers, and switches 
  • Assists with the deployment, maintenance, and support of VoIP phones 
  • Configures users to networks and provides preliminary training in facilities and applications 
  • Assists in adapting and customizing new and existing programs to meet users’ requirements 
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Networking 
  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
  • Experience in Desktop Support or a related field is required 
  • Preferably has knowledge of Computer Hardware 
  • Thorough understanding of User Account Creation 
  • Has practical experience in Desktop Support 
  • Proficient in developing procedure manuals, user guides, business correspondence, and reports 

Preferred candidates who have the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical users. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.     

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Desktop Support Analyst. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
