As an Expat Tax Accountant, you are responsible for helping individuals and organizations from abroad file their taxes appropriately while following legal guidelines and obtaining the maximum possible tax return. 

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Have experience specifically for filing expats taxes 
  • Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database 
  • Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings 
  • Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits 
  • Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations 
  • Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws 
  • Accurately prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports 
  • Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends 

Requirements 

  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, Business or Business Administration 
  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
  • 2 years experience in expat tax filing  
  • Good knowledge of tax preparation software 
  • Comprehensive understanding of government tax laws 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong numeracy skills 
  • MS Excel wizard 
  • Keen attention to detail 
  • Superb organizational skills 

Preferred candidates that have experience in international tax filing. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.  

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
