As an IT Helpdesk Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and maintaining the software infrastructure of our organization. We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented individual who is passionate about solving technical issues and ensuring smooth operations. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 

What you'll be doing 

  • Providing technical support to end-users and resolving software-related issues 
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems 
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining software applications and systems
  • Assisting with system upgrades and software deployments 
  • Monitoring and responding to service tickets and ensuring timely resolution 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions 
  • Conducting software testing and quality assurance 
  • Documenting technical procedures and creating user manuals
  • Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
  • Proven experience in IT support or software engineering roles 
  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, and hardware
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ 
  • Familiarity with database management systems and SQL 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Strong customer service abilities 

Preferred candidates who have a strong background in IT support and software engineering, with experience in providing helpdesk services. Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco) will be highly valued. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a customer-centric mindset are also important qualities we seek in candidates. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced IT Helpdesk Software Engineer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
