As a Leave and Benefits Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing employee leave programs and administering various employee benefits. Join our remote team and ensure a seamless experience for our employees by effectively managing their leave requests and providing support in navigating our benefits programs. 

What you'll be doing 

  • Administering employee leave programs, including FMLA, disability, and other types of leave 
  • Reviewing and processing employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws 
  • Collaborating with HR and management to provide guidance and support on leave-related matters
  • Serving as a point of contact for employees regarding leave inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns 
  • Assisting employees in understanding their benefits options and providing guidance on benefit enrollment 
  • Conducting benefits orientations and providing information on plan features and eligibility criteria 
  • Managing open enrollment processes, including communication, data management, and system updates 
  • Keeping abreast of leave and benefits regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements
  • Generating reports and analyzing data related to leave and benefits utilization for decision-making purposes 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 
  • Proven experience in leave management and benefits administration 
  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with HRIS and benefits administration systems 
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 

Preferred candidates for this role have a solid understanding of leave and benefits administration, with a track record of effectively managing employee leave programs and supporting employees in understanding their benefits options. They possess excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment are highly valued. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Leave and Benefits Specialist. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
