As a PHP/Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. You will collaborate with a team of developers to create scalable and efficient solutions. This is a remote position that requires strong proficiency in PHP, along with experience in Laravel development. 

What you'll be doing 

• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code to develop web applications 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project specifications
• Designing and implementing database structures and schemas
• Developing and maintaining APIs and integrating third-party services 
• Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards 
• Troubleshooting and debugging software issues to improve overall system performance 
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation for developed software 
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in PHP and Laravel development
• Participating in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 
• 2+ years of professional experience in PHP development 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
• Strong knowledge of the Laravel framework and its ecosystem 
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
• Familiarity with database technologies, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of software development principles and best practices 
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment 

Preferred candidates who have experience working on complex web applications and have a solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns. Additionally, familiarity with front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React and knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure would be highly valued. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting are also important.
