Remote Senior .NET Developer

We seek a seasoned .NET Developer with at least eight years of experience to join our rapidly growing technology company. In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing, maintaining, and documenting our server-side systems developed on the .NET framework. Your work will directly impact our products' performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring a top-notch experience for our users. This is a potential contract-to-hire position, with specific details to be discussed with the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Documentation: Lead the documentation of our server-side systems, including architecture, functionality, and technical specifications. Create comprehensive technical documents to aid future development, system enhancements, and debugging processes.
- Client Implementations: Collaborate closely with project managers, technical architects, and the lead developer to configure our core solution for new clients. This may involve configuring existing designs or developing new functionalities.
- New Product Development: Work alongside cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain new offerings using the latest .NET technologies and best practices.
- System Maintenance and Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of existing server-side systems, identifying areas for improvement.
- Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve server-side issues reported by internal stakeholders, clients, or end-users.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
- Integration: Collaborate with other team members to integrate server-side components with the user interface, third-party APIs, and other systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a focus on server-side development.
- Strong knowledge of VB.Net, .NET Framework 4.8, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Proficiency in implementing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with SQL Server and troubleshooting stored procedures.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality code.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Windows Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Remote work experience handling US clients
- Excellent communication and English, written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Previous experience documenting complex systems and architectural designs.
Note: This is a full-time remote position offering some flexibility. As we grow, this role is expected to become a Team Lead within the development team.
