As a Senior Technical Writer (Remote), you will be responsible for creating clear and concise technical documentation to support our products and services. Your expertise in writing and understanding complex technical concepts will ensure that our documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly. 

What you'll be doing 

• Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather information and understand technical concepts 
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and FAQs 
• Organizing and structuring content to ensure clarity and ease of use 
• Reviewing and editing existing documentation for accuracy and consistency 
• Conducting research and staying up-to-date with product developments and updates 
• Participating in cross-functional teams to gather feedback and improve documentation quality 
• Applying technical writing best practices and style guidelines 
• Incorporating visual elements, such as diagrams and screenshots, to enhance understanding 
• Assisting in the localization and translation of documentation for international audiences 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field 
• Proven experience as a technical writer or in a similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong editing skills with attention to detail 
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts effectively 
• Familiarity with documentation tools and technologies (e.g., MadCap Flare, Confluence) 
• Proficiency in using markup languages (e.g., Markdown, XML) 
• Excellent collaboration abilities 
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment 

Preferred candidates for the role of Senior Technical Writer should have a strong passion for writing and a keen interest in technology. Experience in writing documentation for software products or IT-related topics is highly desired. Knowledge of agile methodologies, content management systems, and familiarity with UX writing principles are valued qualities.
