As a Staff Data Scientist, you will play a key role in our data analytics and machine learning initiatives. Leveraging your expertise in data analysis and modeling, you will contribute to the development of data-driven solutions to complex business problems.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting in-depth data analysis and providing insights to support business strategies
- Building and implementing machine learning models to solve predictive and prescriptive problems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities and challenges
- Designing and conducting experiments to validate and optimize models
- Developing data pipelines and automation processes for efficient data handling
- Exploring and analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends
- Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and analytics
- Mentoring and guiding junior data scientists in their professional growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, demonstrating successful data-driven projects
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Strong knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and hypothesis testing
Preferred candidates will have a track record of contributing to data science projects with tangible business impact. They will possess a deep understanding of various machine learning algorithms and statistical methodologies. Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms would be advantageous.
We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Staff Data Scientist. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
