What you'll be doing 

  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical support via phone, email, or chat 
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues reported by customers 
  • Collaborating with the development team to investigate and resolve complex technical problems 
  • Documenting customer interactions, including problem description and resolution steps 
  • Identifying and escalating critical issues to appropriate teams for timely resolution 
  • Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and new releases to effectively assist customers 
  • Providing training and guidance to customers on product usage and best practices 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product functionality and customer experience 
  • Contributing to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles and support documentation 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role 
  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
  • Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Experience with ticketing systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools 

Preferred candidates will have experience in a customer-facing technical support role, preferably in the software or technology industry. Strong multitasking skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a customer-centric approach are highly desirable. Candidates with certifications such as A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) will be given preference. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Technical Support Engineer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
