As a Technical Support Engineer (Level 1), you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing technical assistance and resolving issues related to our products and services. Your strong troubleshooting skills and customer-centric approach will ensure a positive customer experience.  

What you'll be doing 

  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical assistance via phone, email, or chat 
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues reported by customers 
  • Escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary 
  • Guiding customers through step-by-step solutions and providing clear instructions 
  • Documenting customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the support ticketing system 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and ensure timely resolution 
  • Proactively identifying trends and patterns in customer issues to improve product functionality and user experience 
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge base articles 
  • Continuously expanding technical knowledge and staying updated on product enhancements and new releases 
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 
  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
  • Proven experience in a technical support or customer service role 
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications 
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting principles 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills 

Preferred candidates for the role of Technical Support Engineer (Level 1) should have a customer-focused mindset and a passion for providing technical assistance. Basic knowledge of programming languages, database management, or cloud technologies is a plus. Strong multitasking abilities, a positive attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are valued qualities.  

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Technical Support Engineer (Level 1). We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
